Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy explains how Venoo, a product of PT DVNCI TEKNOLOGI INDONESIA (“we”, “us”), handles personal data. We follow Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
1. Two kinds of people, two roles
- Workshops and their staff (our customers). We decide how your data is used, so we are responsible for it.
- Car owners who book through a workshop’s form. You are booking with that workshop. The workshop is responsible for your data. We store and process it for the workshop, as its data intermediary. For questions or requests about your booking data, please contact the workshop first. If you contact us, we will pass your request to the workshop and help it respond.
2. What we collect
From workshops: business name, address, phone, logo, opening hours and services; staff names, emails and login details; billing contact and invoice records; messages you send us.
From car owners (for the workshop): name, mobile number, email, car plate number, car make and model, chosen service, add-ons, date and time, and any notes you type in. Please do not put sensitive details such as NRIC numbers or card numbers in the notes.
From everyone who visits our sites: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and error logs. We use this to keep the service secure and working.
3. How we use it
- To run bookings: show free times, save the booking, and show it in the workshop’s dashboard.
- To send booking messages by WhatsApp and email: confirmation, reminder, a request to review the workshop, and alerts to the workshop.
- To support workshops, send invoices, and tell them about important changes to Venoo.
- To keep Venoo secure, fix problems and prevent misuse.
- To meet legal duties.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use car owners’ data to advertise to them, and we do not share it with other workshops.
4. Messages and your choices
By booking, car owners agree to receive messages about that booking. You can stop reminders and review requests at any time by replying STOP or by asking the workshop. Workshops can choose which messages are sent.
5. Who we share it with
We share data only with the workshop you booked with, and with service providers who help us run Venoo:
| Provider | What they do | Where data is stored or processed |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database | Singapore |
| Vercel | Hosting our website and app | Singapore, with some processing in other regions |
| Meta (WhatsApp Business) | Sending WhatsApp messages | Outside Singapore |
| Resend | Sending emails | United States |
| Inngest | Timing reminder messages | United States |
We may add or change providers. We will update this table when we do. We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people or of Venoo.
6. Data sent outside Singapore
Some providers process data outside Singapore. When this happens, we make sure they protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA, through contracts and their own security commitments.
7. How long we keep it
- Booking data is kept while the workshop uses Venoo. When a workshop leaves, we keep its data for 30 days so it can ask for a copy, then delete it within 30 more days. Backups are deleted within a further 90 days.
- Workshop account and billing records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting and tax.
- Technical logs are kept for up to 90 days.
8. How we protect it
Data is encrypted when it travels over the internet and when it is stored. Only people who need access to run Venoo can get it. We use secure logins and keep our systems up to date.
If a data breach happens, we will act quickly to contain it. We will tell the affected workshop, and we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected people when the PDPA requires it.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data held about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for us to use it. Car owners: please ask the workshop first. Workshops and staff: email support@usevenoo.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide some services, such as booking messages.
10. Cookies
We use cookies that are needed to keep you logged in and to keep the service secure. If we add cookies for analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where needed.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will email workshops about important changes.
